(Alwine) Mintmier Forsyth, 66, 216 E. Eager St., Baltimore, Md., formerly of Johnstown RD 4, died April 9, 1990, at Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, Md. Born May 6, 1923, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Harvey G. and Annie M. (Keafer) Alwine. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Ralph Mintmier; second husband, Wallace E. Forsyth; sister, Mildred Woy; brothers, Emil and Wayne. Survived by these children: Lois Layton, Elmira, N. Y.; Doris Brehm, Bellaire, Ohio; Darrell Mintmier, Carol Mintmier and Barbara Garrett, all of Baltimore, Md., and Daniel Mintmier, Gettysburg; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Olive Adams, Conemaugh RD; Clyde, Johnstown; Virgie Beahr and Mary Grace Horner, both of Boswell RD 1, and Harold, Shippensburg. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Donald Speigle officiating.
