Forsythe, died at her home on the Vanderbilt Road, Connellsville, in her ninetieth year, and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Connellsville. Mrs. Forsythe was born and reared in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a descendent of one of the very early settlers in Somerset County. She belonged to the famous Younkin Association. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Forsythe lived in Ursina, later in Humbert and then in the Connellsville district. Mr. Forsythe passed away several years ago. Their married life was an ideal one. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carmie Earle, one grandson, Elmore Brown, of New Kensington, and two great-granddaughters. Mrs. Forsythe had great business acumen and retained her active mind almost to the last. Meyersdale Republican, February 6, 1941
