  FORTNEY
  
    Helen Johnson Fortney, 84, Patriot Manor, Somerset, died Feb. 9, 1996, at
  the manor.  Born March 25, 1911, in Fairmont, W. Va., daughter of Charles
  and Henrietta Johnson.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by two
  daughters: Mrs. Dale (Beverly) Bennett, Somerset; and Mrs. Michael (Joyce)
  Romino, Fairmont, W. Va.; grandchildren: Debra Bennett, David L. Bennett,
  Alan D. Bennett and Rebecca Bennett Meyers, all of Somerset; and
  great-grandchildren: Christopher and Robert Meyers, and Angelica Bennett,
  all of Somerset.  Member of First Presbyterian Church in Fairmont.  Retired
  from Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co.  Member of Telephone Pioneers of
  America.  She has donated her body to the West Virginia Medical Center. 
  Memorial service will be held in Fairmont at a later date.
