Born April 13, 1930, in Jenners, son of Ward and Lena (Johnston) Foster. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Delores and Thelma, and brothers James and Robert. Survived by wife of 38 years, former Levada "Vicky" (Crissey) Hubert, stepson Daniel Hubert and wife Doris, Topeka, Kan.; stepdaughter, Loretta (Hubert) and husband, James Hockensmith, Somerset; sister Grace Charlton, Stoystown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Served in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver. Member of the Christian Church of Waterford. Active member of numerous area sportsmens associations, the American Legon and the VFW. Inducted into the Pa. Federation of Sportsmen Clubs Hall of Fame. Was an avid hunter and fisherman. Taught hunter safety courses and fishing derbies for the handicapped. Paul will be missed by family, friends and all those he helped. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Samuel L. Batten officiating.
