She was born March 3, 1931 in Rockwood. She was a member of Florence United Methodist Church in Florence. She is survived by four loving children including daughters Sherry Duarte of Richmond, Ky. and Lorie Street of Erlanger, Ky., and sons Jeff Fountain of Richmond, Ky. and Kenny Fountain of Florence, Ky.; ten beautiful grandchildren, and her aunt Olive Ansell Gary of Scullton. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold S. "Piney" and Kathern (Ansell) Meyers, her maternal grandparents John M. and Sara Ansell, and her paternal grandparents Robert E. Lee and Mary (Speicher) Meyers. She was the former owner and proprietor of the Laurel Hill Restaurant in New Lexington and was retired from General Electric Corp. in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was awarded for her commitment and dedication. She will be missed by those who love her dearly. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at the Scullton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church Monday at 11 a.m. with one hour visitation at the church prior to the service. Rev. Boyd Race officiating.
