Foust, a retired rural mail carrier, died on Sunday, March 4, at his home in Fairhope. A native of Juniata Township, Bedford County, Mr. Foust was born March 5, 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Foust and had he lived another day would have reached his 89th birthday. Surviving are two children, Clyde of Philadelphia, and Beatrice of Akron, Ohio. Mr. Foust was a member of the Hyndman Reformed Church, and was a very active Sunday School and Church worker throughout his lifetime. His pastor, Rev. G. Raymond Winters, conducted funeral services on Wednesday afternoon in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. The body was prepared for burial at the Ziegler Funeral Home in Hyndman, where it remained until the funeral. Interment was made in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 8, 1945
