Born August 4, 1914, in Berlin, son of the late John D. and Elizabeth (Brant) Foust. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Irvin and John Foust, sisters: Margaret Piccola, Ada Belle Wilson, Mary Burock and Sarah Kreitzburg. Survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Mary Pritts; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Bonnie) Smith, Livonia, Mich.; son, Earl Wayne Foust, Rockwood RD 3; grandchildren: Christopher, Timothy and Oliver Smith; foster sisters: Evelyn English, Dorothy Bittner and Edna Phennicie, all of Berlin. He was a World War II veteran, where he served as liaison pilot. He was a lifetime member of the Center Church of the Brethren where he served as a deacon. He was a retired plumber and pipefitter with union Local 354 Greensburg. Member of the Somerset VFW post, Laurel Highlands Railroad Club and member of the Ultra Van Motor Coach Club. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Center Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Tom Singo and Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.
