Born Sept. 7, 1904 in Brothersvalley Township, a son of Harrison Henry and Cora Ellen (Brant) Foust. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Ruth Marie Shumaker, who died Dec. 2, 1935; second wife, the former Gladys Mostoller, who died Jan. 3, 1980; brothers Merle Foust and Dalton Foust; sisters, Myrtle Berkey and Eria Belle Foust; and half-brother, Homer Brant. Survived by children, Mrs. Helen Coughenour of Allentown, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Manges of McDonald, Ohio; Harry E. Foust, married to the former Wilma Sarver of Berlin; John W. Foust, married to the former Cathy Stahl of Somerset; Mrs. Dale (Evelyn) Ogline of Berlin; stepson, Clarence Mostoller, married to the former Wilma Deem of Listie; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers Roy Foust of Ephrata and George Foust of Somerset; and companion, Fern Snyder of Somerset. Member of Beechdale Church of the Brethren. Retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 1973. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday. Rev Larry Black officiating.
