  George R. Foy, 78, of Friendsville RD 1, Md., died Monday, April 11, 1994,
  at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland.  Born July 16, 1915, in Addison
  Township, son of the late John and Laura (Engle) Foy.  Also preceded in
  death by his wife, Beryl (Friend) Foy, Oct. 3, 1987.  Survived by a
  brother, Henry Foy, Listonburg; a half brother, Robert Sanders,
  Grantsville, Md., and a sister, Carolyn Jones, Woodsfield, Ohio.  He had
  been employed in bridge and road construction and also by Garrett County
  Community Action.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, Md., where services
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Tim Allen
  officiating.  Interment, Sand Spring Cemetery.
