    Howard E. Frampton, 80, Stoystown, died April 13, 2008, at home. Born Sept. 23, 1927,
  in Orgas, W.Va., a son of William and Gertrude (Hays) Frampton. Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Elda L. Bailey; brothers, Russell and Leslie; sisters, Junita,
  Eiline and Pearl Frampton and Della Mae Sarver. Survived by children, Ruth Ann, married
  to Rex Pyle, Hedgesville, W.Va.; Ronald, married to the former Mary Kay Gindlesperger,
  Meyersdale; Cathy, married to George Handwerk, and Brenda McClemens, all of Stoystown; 17
  grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great- grandchildren. A brother of
  Arley and wife Grace, Fred and wife Betty, and Doyle, all of Boswell. He worked 10 years
  in the Popernack Mine, 15 years at Zeahner's Sawmill and 25 years at A.W. Francis, where
  he retired. A member of Harbor Light Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed
  hunting and fishing. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev.
  Curtis Frampton and the Rev. Ralph Tinkey officiating. Interment, Church of the Brethren
  Cemetery, Sipesville. Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Deaner
  Funeral Home, P.O. Box 555, Stoystown, PA 15563 to assist with expenses.
