  FRAMPTON
  
  Melvin R. Frampton, 64, of Somerset, died Jan. 18, 1987, at his
  residence.  Born March 22, 1922, in Ruffsdale, son of late Wesley C. and
  Alice A. (Frye) Frampton.  Also preceded in death by grandson, Wesley
  Edward Newcomer; brothers Ivan, William and Howard; and a sister, Morna
  Shaulis.  Survived by wife, the former Virginia Vest; and these children: 
  Mrs. Brian E. (Melissa M.) Newcomer of Richmond, Va., and Roger L. of
  Somerset; a granddaughter, Brandy Lynn Frampton; brother of:  Mrs. Bud
  (Dora) Kline of Butler; Mrs. Bertha Frampton of Somerset RD 3; Russell of
  Rockville, Md.; and Mrs. Sherman (Hazel) Sheldon of Mt. Airy, Md.  Friends
  received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.
  with Pastor William J. Dodson officiating.  Interment, Sipesville
  Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the In Touch Hospice Care Program
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Military graveside services will be
  conducted by VFW Post 554.
