  Homer Douglas Francis, 39, of Somerset and Pittsburgh, died Sept. 18, 1982,
  in Boca Raton, Fla.  Born Oct. 11, 1942, in Pittsburgh, son of Jane
  (Shidemantle) Francis and the late Albert W. Francis.  Preceded in death by
  a sister, Lintha.  Survived by his sister, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Vanyo of
  Somerset; also his fiancee, Stephanie Diacoma of Pittsburgh.  Member of St.
  Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset.  Graduate of the University of
  Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 11
  a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Carl Hull officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be
  made to the Penns Woods Council Boys Scouts of America, Windber, Pa.
