  MRS. BENJAMIN FRANTZ
  
    Mrs. Bessie M. Frantz, 88, of Hagerstown, Md., died May 10, 1973, in
  Washington County (Md.) Hospital.  She was born in Maryland, May 30,
  1885.  Her husband, Benjamin Frantz, preceded her in death.
    Surviving are two sons, Mark Frantz, Pittsburgh; and Howard Frantz,
  Silver Spring, Md.; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lewis, Mrs. Geraldine
  Hartford, Mrs. Gaynell Shank and Mrs. Kathryn Holsotple [sic], all of
  Hagerstown, and Mrs. Bessie Rush, Friendsville, Md.; 29 grandchildren, 70
  great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
    Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon in Friendsville United
  Methodist Church, of which she was a member, by Rev. Thomas Hartshorn. 
  Interment in the Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville.
