MARY ANN FRANTZ

Selbysport, Md.

  Mary Ann Frantz, born May 17, 1941, died Sept. 5, aged 3 months, 18 days.  She 
was the daughter of Edward J. and Ruth (Humberson) Frantz and the granddaughter 
of J. B. Frantz.  She became seriously ill from double pneumonia on Friday 
morning and was rushed to the Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, by her uncle, Paul 
A. Fisher, but to no avail.  She passed on one hour after admission to the 
hospital.
  She was a lovely, sweet baby and had wound herself around the hearts of her 
parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and neighbors as well.  Floral tributes 
were many and beautiful.

We loved her.  Ah, no tongue can tell

How much we loved her and how well!

God loved her, too, and thought it best

To take her home with him to rest.

  Rev. R. L. Greynolds of the M. E. Church conducted the funeral services.  W. 
W. Savage, Friendsville mortician, had charge of the interment.  Pallbearers 
were Jean Humberson, Helen Bowser, Madeline and Joyce Frantz; Flower girls, Mary 
Ruth Faucett, Lelia Marie Riley, Faye Frazee, Dorothy Ann Humberson, Joan Fisher 
and Patty Lee Yutzy.
