  W. BRICE FRANTZ
  
    Brice Frantz, 87, of Friendsville, died Sunday, July 16, 1978, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late James and Ella (Fike)
  Frantz.
    He was a member of Asher Glade Church of the Brethren.
    Surviving are his widow, Emma (Frazee) Frantz, Friendsville; a son,
  Edward L. Frantz, Friendsville; four stepsons, Dale Reese and Paul Reese,
  both of Friendsville; Darwin Reese, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; Glenn Reese,
  Cleveland, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruth Fike, Markleysburg, Pa.; Mrs.
  Verna Paul, Friendsville; three brothers, James L. Frantz, Friendsville;
  Oscar Frantz, Houston, Pa.; Lawrence Frantz, Cleveland, Ohio; a sister,
  Mrs. Doshia Bowser, Normalville, Pa.; 18 stepgrandchildren and 11
  step-great-grandchildren.
    The body was taken to the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville.  Services
  were conducted in Asher Glade Church with the Rev. Donald Matthews
  officiating.  Interment, Asher Glade Cemetery.
