All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ MARY BILL FRASER Grantsville, Maryland Mrs. Nettie Bill received a telegram Sunday morning telling her that her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Bill Fraser, aged 71, died at her home in Berkeley, California, about 10:30 o'clock Saturday night, Aug. 17. No details, however, were given in the message. Mrs. Fraser was a former resident of Grantsville. She as born here October 2, 1868, a daughter of Charles and Margaret Bill, and was a sister of the late Charles H. Bill. She was the last of her family, in which there were eight children. Mrs. Fraser was the wife of John A. Fraser, who survives. There were no children. For the last fifteen years they lived in California, but visited here on several occasions, their last visit being made about three years ago. Mr. Fraser is a prosperous construction engineer and building contractor - a fine man. They had a beautiful home on a hillside, with an outlook over San Francisco Bay and through the famous Golden Gate to the Pacific Ocean. Surviving relatives in this section include a nephew, Wilson Bill, Grantsville; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Nettie Bill, Grantsville; Mrs. Mary Bill, Lonaconing; Mrs. Mary Jane Bill, Brooklyn, and other relatives in Cumberland, Keyser, W.Va., and Westfield, N.J.
