All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ LOT WATSON FRAZEE Lot Watson Frazee died at his home on Frazee Ridge, Garrett County, Md., on Thursday, April 24, at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 8 days. He had been in delicate health for a long time and was confined to his bed since last Christmas. Lot Watson Frazee was born on the farm on which he died, on February 16, 1847; he was a son of Squire and Sarah Frazee, descendants of one of the pioneer families of Garrett County. He was the last of a family of eleven to pass away. When young he married Isabella Wass of Addison, who died 11 years ago. To this marriage were born two children, both of whom survive. They are William W. Frazee of Confluence and Mrs. R. B. Spurgeon at home. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. He was for many years a member of the Baptist Church, and was noted for his sterling character and honesty. The funeral took place at the family home on Sunday, April 27, Rev. Denny of the Friendsville Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, there being mourners from four counties, viz.; Somerset and Fayette counties, Pa.; Garrett County, Md., and Preston County, W.Va., present.
