Frazee was born Aug. 7, 1850, and died June 26, 1932, aged 81 years, 10 months and 19 days. He was married to Miss Jennie Matthews, Nov. 18, 1877, at the old Matthews homestead. They lived on a farm on Frazee's Ridge in the early years of their married life, later moving to Markleysburg, Pa., where they lived several years, then returned to Selbysport, where they bought the old Matthews homestead. Mr. Frazee was active up to the day he was stricken with paralysis, only remaining in bed 8 days until death called him. Mr. Frazee was a most exemplary citizen, and possessed many admirable traits. He will be sadly missed in the community where he lived so long. The funeral was held in the Baptist Church on Frazee's Ridge. Services were conducted by Rev. Shae of the M.E. Church, of which the deceased was a lifelong member. The pall-bearers were all nephews of the deceased, and were Orval, Ben and Martin Frazee, Bailey Liston, A. J. Mittelstaedt and Don Shirer. Interment in Frazee Ridge Cemetery. The out-of-town friends and relatives who attended the funeral were: Asa Matthews, Buffalo, N.Y.; A. A. Frazee and wife, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mrs. McCormick, Butler, Pa.; Mrs. Van Ryan, Coraopolis, Pa.; A. T. Matthews, Mrs. Will Frazee and Geo. D. White, Oakland; Ross S. Matthews and family, and Ben Frazee, of Connellsville; Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Riley, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Shaffer, Ralphton, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Richards and Henry Miller and family, Somerset, Pa.; A. J. Mittlestaedt and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Cochran, of Salisbury; Geo. Rathmill and daughter Elizabeth, Uniontown; Perry Frazee and family, Cove; Mr. and Mrs. J. Walter Coddington, and Mrs. Julia Bullard, Friendsville; Mrs. Minnie Gallagher, Toledo, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Liston, Confluence; Mrs. Florence Shirer and sons, Trafford City, Pa.; Don Shirer, Ursina. Henry Rodaheaver & Son, funeral directors of Somerfield, had charge of the burial arrangements. Meyersdale Republican, July 7, 1932
