FREDERICK Russell Merritt Frederick, 43, of Bellefonte, died of natural causes at Centre Community Hospital Friday, Oct. 9, 1987. Mr. Frederick was the owner of a decorator's workshop formerly of State College and now in Boalsburg and owned the Paradise Kennels, Bellefonte RD 2. He served in the U.S. Army and in 1962 he graduated from Forty Fort High School. He was a graduate of Simmons Mortuary School of Syracuse, N.Y. Mr. Frederick attended Wilkes-Barre College, Wilkes-Barre. He was formerly employed by Jack Harper's of State College. He was a member of Nittany Valley Bird Dog Club. Nita-Nee Kennel Club, Ducks Unlimited, Boalsburg Merchants Association, Nittany Lion Club and was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Forty Fort. He was born Aug. 7, 1944, in Kingston, a son of Miller and Edith Williams Frederick of Jupiter, Fla. In 1971 he married Sally Sue Saylor, formerly of Meyersdale, who survives. In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by two daughters: Merritt at home and Kristen Post of State College; a son: Eben at home; a sister: Megan of Jupiter, Fla. Funeral services were held at Wetzier Funeral Home, Bellefonte, Monday at 2 p.m., with the Revs. Paul E. Bench and Harold F. Mante officiating. Friends were received at the funeral home.
