Freeman, 64, of Somerset RD 2, died Feb. 17, 1980 in Mercy Hospital, Johnstown. He was born in Johnstown, Dec. 9, 1915, a son of Torrence and Maggie (Chase) Freeman. He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Horner and these children: Mary Louise, wife of Cordell Yerty, Johnstown; Sandra, wife of Fred Esposita, Stoystown; and Larry L. of Berlin; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Also these brothers and sisters: Chester Freeman, Mrs. Albert (Alberto) Pejack, Mrs. Helen Teeter, Earl, Mrs. Noel (Dora) Carney, Mrs. Vincent (Rose) Trentini, all of Johnstown; and Mrs. Ronald (Emma) Naygle, Acme. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. A member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church and choir. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. where he had worked as a timekeeper for 41 years. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were conducted with the Rev.
