"Junior" Fresh, 72, Rockwood, died Feb. 14, 2000, at Somerset Hospital. Born Jan. 6, 1929 in Listonburg, son of Howard W. and Georgia Mae (Wilhelm) Fresh. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Wilma Cramer; niece Sandra Henry; and nephews, Gary Booth, Roger Fresh and Jeffrey Henry. Survived by brother, Clyde, married to Beda Fresh, Rockwood, and sisters, Freda Smith, Charleroi, and Maxine, married to Raymond Henry, Rockwood; nieces, Georgia Cramer, Kay Betler, Debbie Prinkey, Brenda Meyers, Michelle Wheatley, Carol Fresh and Shiryl Pritts, and nephews, Ephraim Cramer, Thomas Cramer and Delmas Fresh; also 22 great-nieces and nephews. U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. A life-long farmer and member of the Kingwood Chapter of the I.O.O.F., Junior will be missed around the community that he so dearly loved. His favorite times were spent at the kingwood Picnic and the New Centerville Jubilee where he could see his friends and lend a hand. Friends received from 2-9 p.m., Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Pastor Don Judy officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
