Frickey, died suddenly at her home Tuesday noon, May 4, after an illness of several years. She was born July 6, 1895, near Jennings, Md., the daughter of the late Wilson and Mary (Hetrick) Bittinger. She married Noah C. Frickey in 1927, and has resided in Grantsville since then. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Quentin Ray and Guy Wilson Frickey, Grantsville; two brothers, Dewey Bittinger of Akron, O., and Kermit Bittinger, near Jennings; four sisters, Mrs. Melvin Stanton of Bittinger; Mrs. Harlene Braden of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Edgar Roberts of Marshfield, Ore., and Mrs. Larue Robeson of Avilton. Mrs. Frickey was a member of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, where services were conducted Saturday afternoon, May 8, Rev. J. C. Beahm, pastor of the Summit Mills Church of the Brethren, officiating. A quartet composed of Denver Miller, Dale Kinsinger, Daniel Puffenberger and J. Shumaker, sang "Rock of Ages" and "Some Sweet Day". The pallbearers were Stewart Rodamer, Milton Rodamer, Harry Edwards, Cecil Edwards, William Deitle and G. W. Deifenbach. Interment was made in the church cemetery. Among relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. Harlene Braden of Washington; Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Bittinger and William Bittinger of Akron, O., and Bud Bittinger of Hagerstown, Md.
