She was removed to the Hazel McGilvery Hospital, Wednesday morning, Dec. 25. She was suffering from appendicitis and succumbed to a hemorrhage of the brain at 6:30 Thursday evening, Dec. 26th. She was a daughter of John Schrock and was born in Summit Township, Nov. 8, 1864, being in her 65th year at the time of her death. She married August Frickey, son of Augustus Frickey. All of her life was spent in Summit Township where she was highly respected and loved for her fine Christian character and good neighborly disposition. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Noah Burkholder, and two grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Watson, and two brothers, Frank and Perry Schrock. Mrs. Frickey was a lifelong member of the Brethren church. Funeral services at her late home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon were conducted by Rev. T. R. Coffman. Interment in the Lichty Cemetery near Summit Mills. J. L. Tressler was the Undertaker in charge. Meyersdale Republican, January 2, 1930
