Frickey, 81, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Grantsville, Md., died September 25, at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo, Fla. A native of Summit Mills, he was a son of the late Willard and Catherine (Klotz) Frickey. His wife, Cora (Bittinger) Frickey, preceded him in death. A retired mechanic, he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and of Grantsville American Legion Post 214. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are two sons, Quentin Frickey, Grantsville, Md.; Guy Frickey, Clearwater, Md.; brother, John Frickey, Madison, Ohio; five sisters, Mary Alexander, Margaret Alexander and Sara Alexander, Accident, Md;.; Rose Rabenhurst, Vero Beach, Fla.; Olive Pagano, New York City; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where a service was conducted with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
