    Alvin R. "Russell" Friedline, 72, Meyersdale, formerly of Somerset, passed on Sept. 11,
  2007, at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Born Nov. 4, 1934, in Rockwood, he is the
  son of the late Charles W. and Hazel (Lytle) Friedline. He is also preceded in death by
  his sister, Carolyn Fisher. He is survived by his children, Florence Smith, Somerset;
  Russell Friedline Jr. and wife, Bonnie (Brugh), Woodbridge, Va.; Charles Friedline and
  wife, Diana (Vandergrift), Friedens; and Rex Friedline and wife, Christine (Phillips),
  Port Charlotte, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty
  Muscardelli and husband, Sylvester, Johnstown. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting, and
  shooting. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m.
  Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Roger Forry officiating. Memorial
