Canfield Niles Road, Youngstown, Ohio, died of pneumonia, Sunday, April 20, 1975, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Born Jan. 24, 1891, in Pocahontas, Somerset County, he was a son of Austin and Mary (Housel) Friedline. He retired in 1959 from Republic Rubber Company, Youngstown, where he had worked for 43 years. He was a World War I veteran and a member of American Legion Post 241, Youngstown. Surviving are three nephews and a niece. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, Youngstown, with Rev. A. B. Swinehart officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Youngstown.
