Born Oct. 28, 1928 in Coleman Station, Somerset Township, a daughter of Homer Milton and Naomi Grace (Ziegler) Pile. Preceded in death by parents and husband William Bruce Friedline who died Jan. 5, 1987. Survived by children: Mrs. David L. (Sharon) Pugh of Somerset; John W. Friedline married to the former Patricia Padisak of Snowshoe; Eric L. Friedline married to the former Jennifer Rayman of Pittsburgh, and six grandchildren; Brandon, Justin, Lindsay and Brittany Pugh, and Billie-Jo and John Patrick Friedline. sister of Jay J. Pile of LaVale, Md.; Ray D. Pile of Altoona; Fred L. Pile of Johnstown; Paul E. Pile of Buckstown and Harold R. Pile of Friedens. A 1946 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. Retired in 1980 with 17 years service as a nurses aide with Somerset State Hospital and worked with the Daily American in subscription sales. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. James R. Ling officiating.
