Friedline, 81, of Hollsopple RD 1, died Nov. 4, 1972, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. He was born in Somerset, May 28, 1891, a son of the late George and Eliza Ankney Friedline. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ida Rebecca Trexel, and a brother, Dr. Clarence Friedline. He is survived by children George W. of Johnstown, Wayne T. of Ligonier, Mrs. Thelma Fleagle of Friedens RD 1 and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Greensburg RD 7; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was a retired farmer; a member of Jerome Lutheran Church; for many years, a Republican committeeman in Jenner Township; and a retired employe of Pennsylvania Department of Highways. Friends are being received in the Roebrt [sic] H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. George A. Clark.
