    Hubert H. Friedline, 86, Boswell RD 2, DOA Oct. 3, 1993, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born Oct. 2, 1907, in Jenner Township.  Son of E. Hayes and Ida
  (Hoffman) Friedline.  Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former
  Evelyn M. Lohr, who died in 1982, and infant sister, Barbara.  Survived by
  children: Lowell L., married to the former Carna Reed, and Lynette, wife of
  Richard C. Ely, both of Boswell RD2; grandchildren, Jonathan R., married to
  former Debbie Leitschuh; Joel R. and Jillynn, wife of Dr. Scott Bastian,
  and one great granddaughter, Paige Anne Friedline.  Brother of Gillian of
  Willow Street, Elvin of Boswell RD 3, Margaret Boyer of Pasadena, Md., and
  Emily Gindlesperger of Boswell RD 1.  Member of Zion-Hoffman Evangelical
  Lutheran Church, Jenner Township, where he formerly held various offices
  and was in the choir.  Charter member and long time director of Somerset
  County Maple Producers Association.  Member of original Somerset County 4-H
  Club.  Lifetime Jenner Township farmer.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell.  Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion-Hoffman Lutheran
  Church, Rev. Michael H. Tamorria.  Interment, church cemetery.  No viewing
  at the church.
