Born Nov. 18, 1915, in Kimmelton, son of the late William and Mary (Croyle) Friedline. Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha K. King; two daughters, Marjory Diehl, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Dora Kaufman, Sharon Township; a son, C. William and daughter-in-law Linda, Lafayette Township; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Harshberger, Taylor, Mich.; and a brother, Paul, Brooklyn, Mich. He was a truck driver for the Ohio Edison Co., retiring in 1978 with 22 years service. A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sharon Center, where he resided since since 1955. Services Friday at 1 p.m. at Hilliard-Cox-Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, Ohio where friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Pastor H. Michael Sayre will officiate.
