Friedline Sr., 71, Jennerstown, died unexpectedly April 26, 1986, at Humana Hospital, Dade City, Fla. Born Oct. 25, 1914, in Jennerstown, son of William Henry and Ida Naomi (Schmucker) Friedline. Preceded in death by parents, infant brother and sister, Florence. Survived by widow, the former, Irene Enos; son, James E. Jr., married to former Rita Leput, Jennerstown; two grandchildren, Michelle and James E. III. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ; Ferndale Sportsmen; Jenner Rod and Gun Club; U.S.W.A.; Ferndale and Jennerstown Volunteer Fire departments; B.P.O.E., Meyersdale; F.O.E., Somerset. Retired employee of Gautier Division, Johnstown Works, Bethlehem Steel. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Joseph M. Beer.
