Friedline, 57, of Latrobe RD 5 (Unity Township) died Aug. 19, 2003, at Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1945, in Pleasant Unity, a son of Mary E. (Nave) Friedline of Hurricane, W.Va. and the late Edward J. Friedline. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a half brother, Robert Friedline; and a half sister, Ellen Mae Overly. Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Vogel) Friedline; son, Timothy G. Friedline and wife Sheri; daughter, Heather L. Kabala and husband Donald, all of Latrobe; three grandchildren: Nickolas and Brandon Friedline and Emily Kabala; sister, Mary Lou Hutchinson of Hurricane, W.Va.; two half brothers, Fred Dauer of Latrobe RD 1 and Jay Friedline, of Brookfield, Ohio; half sister, Ione Eachus of Acme and several nieces and nephews. Prior to his disability he was an equipment installer for Diebold, Inc. He was a life member of the NRA, member of North American Hunting Club and Buckmasters and also a social member of the Chestnut Ridge Community Vol. Fire Co. and the Pleasant Unity Vol. Fire Dept. Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Gaut-Bacha Funeral Home Inc.; Pleasant Unity (724-423-2566). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Youngstown. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
