  Jane H. Friedline, 82, Somerset, died Dec. 7, 2006, at her residence. Born March 10, 1924, in
  Somerset, the daughter of Carl Henry and Ruth (Varner) Hoffman. Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Wallace Luther Friedline, who died July 12, 1997; daughter, Ann Ruth Friedline, and
  stepmother Katherine (Walter) Friedline. Survived by son, John W. Friedline, married to the former
  Lori A. Salvato, Kendall Park, N.J.; and sister, Mrs. James (Sally) Spangler, Somerset. Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church. She is a 1942 graduate of Somerset High School and a graduate of
  Gettysburg College. Worked as a case worker for Blue Cross Blue Shield and later as a case worker
  for the Pa. Department of Public Welfare where she retired in 1982. Also a member of the Somerset
  Welfare League and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received one hour prior to
  the service at the Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel, which will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. Linda
