Friedline, died April 3, 1980, in West Chester, Pa. Born in Jenners Township, daughter of the late George F. and Naomi (Shaulis) Shaffer. Mrs. Friedline has resided in Downingtown for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Downingtown and of the Malvern Monday Afternoon Women's Club. She was a graduate of Somerset High School and the Indiana State Teacher's College. She formerly taught in the Jenners Township Elementary School System for 12 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: George of New Martinsville, W.Va.; and Robert, who is on tour with the U.S. State Department currently in Sudan, Africa; three brothers: David, of Silver Lake, Ohio; and Dwight, of Stoystown; Nevin, of Friedens; two sisters: Mary A. Blough, of Boswell; and Myra Elaine Shaffer, of Sipesville; 6 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Ralph Ralston Funeral Home, 107 West Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, Pa. Viewing will be held Monday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Jennerstown Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Lillian S.
