  CECIL E. FRIEND
  
  Cecil E. Friend, 38, of Friendsville, died Jan. 7 in Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.
  
  Born in Uniontown, Pa., he was a son of Oakie and Edna (Hinebaugh) Friend.
  
  Mr. Friend was a member of Blooming Rose United Methodist Church.
  
  Surviving are his widow, Shirley Ann (Myers) Friend; three sons, Barry
  Friend, Bradley Friend and Brett Friend, all at home; three daughters,
  Sheila Friend, Rita Friend and Janie Friend, all at home; one brother,
  Earnest Friend, Accident and one sister, Mrs. Irene Bowser, Accident.
  
  Services were conducted Jan. 10 in Blooming Rose Church with the Rev. Brian
  Schofield officiating.  Interment was in Blooming Rose Cemetery in charge of
  Newman Funeral Home.
