  Cora K. Friend, 88, Acosta died April 21, 1978 at Somerset Community
  Hosptial. [sic]  Born March 4, 1890 in Cove, Md., she was a daughter of the
  late Charles and Margaret (Schwartz) Hanft.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, John T.  She is survived by the following children:  Karl, Acosta;
  Paul, Huntingdon; Esther, Acosta; Mrs. Kenneth Ruby Pearsall, Nampa, Id.,
  John T. Jr., Martinsville, Ind. seven grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Margaret Glodfelty, Salisbury.  She
  was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Jerome.  Friends received
  Monday 7-9 p.m. in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will
  be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Elwood R. Vandiver. 
  Interment, Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville, Md.
