  DOROTHY E. FRIEND
  
  Dorothy E. Friend, 72, Berlin, formerly of Confluence, died July 8, 1980,
  in the Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin.
  
  She was born June 14, 1908, in Confluence, a daughter of the late William
  S. and Margaret (Stutzman) Bower.
  
  She is survived by husband, Russell R. Friend; one son, Dane Bower of
  Confluence; and one grandson, Paul; four brothers: Clyde Bower, Walter
  Bower and Floyd Bower, all of Confluence, and Roy Bower of Addison; one
  sister, Mrs. Mary Pronesti of New Kensington.  She was preceded in death by
  brother and three sisters.
  
  Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where
  funeral services were held with the Rev. David Bomboy officiating. 
  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
  
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund of
  Confluence Lutheran Church.
