  MRS. ARCH FRIEND
  
  Mrs. Estella A. Friend, 74, Friendsville, Md., died Sept. 26, 1972, in West
  Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown.
  
  Born in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Horace and
  Annie (Beeghley) Sisler, and was the widow of Arch Friend.
  
  Surviving are a son, Jasper, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Leeka,
  Mt. Airy, Md.; Mrs. Rena Cheney, Cumberland; Mrs. June Walburn, LaVale;
  Mrs. Jean Kowalczyk, Baltimore; and Mrs. Marie Fowler, Chicago, Ill.; also
  16 grandchildren, four great-granchildren; and six brothers, David, Daniel,
  Jasper and Frank Sisler, all of Friendsville; Lloyd Sisler, Terra Alta, W.
  Va.; and Scott Sisler, Oakland, Md.
  
  Funeral service will be conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock in
  Blooming Rose United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Matthews
  officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery.
