    Dorothy B. Fritz, 77, Garrett, died Oct. 28, 1998, at Meyersdale Manor. 
  Born Sept. 18, 1921, in Garrett, daughter of the late Frank and Ruth
  (Sturtz) Brocht.  Survived by husband of 54 years, Eugene L.; son, R.
  Timothy, married to the former Judy Bodes, Garrett; grandchildren:  Robert,
  married to the former Jennifer Davis, and Jennifer Fritz, both of Garrett. 
  Retired Garrett postmistress after 36 years of service.  Member of Garrett
  United Church of Christ.  Former president of the Garrett Chamber of
  Commerce.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
  Rev. Kenneth Davis.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
