  HARRY M. FRITZ
  
    Harry M. Fritz, 73, Garrett RD 1, died April 19, after an illness of 2
  1/2 months.  
    A retired farmer of Summit township, he was a son of the late William
  Henry and Minerva (Hay) Fritz.  
    Surviving are his widow, the former Mary Hillegass, and these children: 
  Alfred, Frostburg; Eugene, Garrett; and Mrs. John Dunlap, Lancaster; and
  Mrs. Harold Saylor, Meyersdale RD 2;  also eight grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of Mrs. Minnie Walker and Mrs. Mary
  Schrock, both of Somerset.  
    The Fritz family was instrumental in the founding of St. Paul's (Fritz)
  Lutheran Church in Brothersvalley township, of which he was a member until
  its closing in March 1966, when he transferred membership to Zion Lutheran
  Church, Meyersdale.  He was a member of Valley Grange.  
    Funeral service was held on Saturday afternoon at Konhaus Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, with Rev. Charles E. Staub officiating.  Interment was made in
  Fritz Church cemetery, Meyersdale RD 2.
