  FRITZ

  Mrs. Mary E. Fritz, 80, Friedens RD 2, died August 16, 1978 at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  She was born November 13, 1897 in Somerset twp, the
  daughter of Jacob and Annie (Custer) Menser.  She was preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Ira C.; brother George; sisters, Bertha and Nan.  She was
  a sister of Alverta and Emily, both of Somerset; Margaret, Friedens; and
  Harry, Westminster.  She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church; Somerset
  OES No. 138; and the Third Society of Farm Women.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. James R.
  Ling officiating.  Interment, Wills Cemetery.
