    Maxine H. Fritz, 72, Sipesville, died Sept. 15, 2006, in Pittsburgh. Born June 21, 1934, in
  Bellwood, the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Miller) Hopkins. Also preceded in death by
  husband, W. Earl Fritz and sisters, Dorothy Weyant and Virginia Trippler. Survived by children, Kim
  Fritz, Somerset, Lisa, wife of Kirby Gardner, Berlin; Scott Fritz, married to the former Julie
  Henry, Cartersville, Ga.; Dana, wife of David King, Kimmelton; and foster daughter, Melissa, wife
  of Lee Dively, Confluence; grand-children, Michelle, Rebecca and Austin Gardner; Seth and Luke
  Fritz; Joshua, Tara and Brett King; foster grandchildren, Megan and Laura Dively and Cyrus and
  Holly Poulladezh; and a nephew, Bill Trippler. She was a cancer survivor for eight years and will
  be sadly missed by her family and friends. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she sang
  in the church choir. A graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School, a trained baby nurse and retired
  postmaster relief at the Sipesville Post Office. Member of the Society of Farm Women, Red Hat
  Society, Sweet Adelines and a life a member of the Grange. Friends were received Monday and will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. A
  service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday in the Calvary United Methodist Church. The Rev.
  Raymond Lyon officiating. Interment in Zion-Hoffman Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the
  Meals On Wheels, 239 W. Church St., Somerset, PA 15501.
