  MILLARD PAUL FRITZ
  December 2, 1911-
  January 28, 2002

    Millard Paul Fritz, 90, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Garrett, died
  Jan. 28, 2002, at St. Mark Village Health Care in Palm Harbor.
    Born Dec. 2, 1911, he was a son of Charles and Anna (Walker) Fritz.  He
  was preceded in death by his wife, Betty H. Fritz, and son, James M. Fritz.
    Survivors are a son, David R. Fritz of Germantown, Md., two daughters:
  Linda Sue Lutes of New Port Richey, Fla.; and Sandra A. Low of Palm Harbor;
  seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Millard moved to Palm Harbor in 1988 from Ft. Meyers, Fla.  He was a
  relay truck driver for Cooper-Jarrett Trucking Company in Somerset and
  awarded three million accident free miles.  He was also owner and operator
  of C.D. Fritz Company General Store in Garrett.  He was a member of St.
  Mark Lutheran Church, Dunedin, Fla.; Meyersdale Masonic Lodge #554 for 56
  years; Scottish Rite of Harrisburg; Araba Shrine Temple and Oriental Shrine
  Band of Ft. Meyers, and was awarded 10 years perfect attendance and a member
  for over 40 years with the Garrett Fire Department.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for
  Children, 12502 North Pine Drive, Tampa, FL, 22612-9499.  A viewing was
  held at Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor, on Jan. 31, and a service
  was held Feb. 1 at St. Mark Village Chapel, Palm Harbor.  Interment, Curlew
  Hills Memory Gardens.
