College St., Palmyra, died March 8, 2002 at home. He was the widower of Margaret Umberger Fritz. Surviving are a son, Wayne W. of Campbelltown; four daughter, Audrey Lebo of Palmyra, Blanche E. Lutz of Reading, Alice R. Alexander of Hummelstown, and Joan Runkel of Annville; two sisters, Ruth Hoffman of Somerset, and Marion Emert of Seward; two brothers, Paul B. of Somerset and William Jr. of Jennerstown; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchildren. He had been a Somerset County coal miner; worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and was a truck driver for Hershey Lumber Co. He played fiddle for square dances and enjoyed fishing. Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township.
