Frost, 58, of Armstrong Avenue, Frostburg, died August 22, 1978, at Baker VA Center, Martinsburg, where he had been a patient three months. Born in Huffman, he was a son of the late Webster Frost and Hazel (Crowe) Frost. Formerly employed as a driver for Howell Trucking Company, Cumberland, he was a veteran of World War II, a member of Shaft United Methodist Church, Alvin C. Neat VFW Post 5280, Lonaconing, Laurel Falls Association and Political Hack Club of Meyersdale. Surviving are his widow, Lorna (Aldridge) Frost; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Johnson, Garrett; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Powell, Lonaconing; Mrs. Minnie Ross, Borden Shaft; two brothers, William Frost, Cumberland; Virgil Frost, Philadelphia; a step-sister, Mrs. Alberta Miller, Frostburg; two stepbrothers, Lawrence Brode and Ellsworth Brode, both of Baltimore, and one grandchild. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home where services were conducted Thursday, August 24, with the Rev. Louis E. Emerick officiating. Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
