  Calvin M. Fry, 75, Jennerstown, died July 21, 1989, at home.  Born July 14,
  1914, in Jerome, son of Murl and Susie E. (Mackey) Fry.  Preceded in death
  by father; first wife Ann (Ardery) Pyle; and brother, George Russell Fry. 
  Survived by mother, Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin; widow, former Marcella K.
  Maue; and these children: Robert, married to former Jane Sprowls, Thomas and
  Gloria Peterson, all of Jennerstown; Barbara, wife of Kenneth Blair,
  Schellsburg; Beverly "Buzz" wife of Barry Saylor, Jenners; also
  step-daughter, Barbara (Pringle) wife of Jerome Smith, Pittsburgh; 15
  grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Also, former sister-in-law,
  Orpha Verbe, Hooversville; niece, Kay Hook; and nephew, Ray Fry.  Member of
  Pittsburgh Racing Association and Penn Western Racing Association.  Former
  NASCAR member.  Owner - operator of Fry's Garage, Jennerstown, for over 47
  years.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held 11
  a.m. Monday with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment, Jenner
  Crossroads Cemetery.
