  Mrs. Ruth E. Frye, 75, Berlin RD 1, died May 15, 1984, in Berlin.  Family
  will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown.  Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Lutheran
  Church, Shanksville.  Full obituary in Thursday's paper.

  Mrs. Ruth E. Frye, 75, Berlin RD 1, died May 15, 1984, at Maple Mountain
  Manor, Berlin.  Born Oct. 11, 1908, in Somerset County, daughter of Harvey
  and Minerva (Pritts) Baughman.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, John
  L., who died in 1970; son, Richard; sisters, Lelia Christner and Margaret;
  brothers, John, Harry ("Bill"), Harold ("Charley"), Paul and Karl.  Survived
  by these children: Mrs. Foster (Annalea) Bingman, Hummelstown; John Jr.,
  Dover; Mrs. Clair (Audra) Fosbrink, Mars; Arthur, Allentown; Mrs. Barry
  (Eileen) Baer, Friedens RD 1; and Thomas, Friedens; 11 grandchildren; and
  eight great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Leora Samuels, Johnstown, and
  Mrs. Marian Wilkinson, Windber.  Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church of
  Shanksville.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  The remains will be removed to the St.
  Mark Lutheran Church to lie in state from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m.
  Friday with the Rev. Patricia Harrington officiating.  Interment, Walker
  Cemetery, Shanksville.
