Born Oct. 17, 1907, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of the late Charles H., and Mary C. (Trimpey) Sechler. Also preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert H. Survived by two daughters: Janet, wife of George Lamp, Point Pleasant, W.Va.; Shirley, wife of Blair Kreger, Markleton RD 1; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Charles (Etta) McKeever, Slippery Rock; and Miss Bertha and Miss Blanche Sechler, both of Somerset. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Rockwood. Graduate of California State Teachers College and had attended Penn State and Indiana universities. Teacher in the Rockwood Area schools for 30 years. Private funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment, Rockwood Cemetery.
