Fullem, a native of Summit Mills and a long-time wheelwright and woodworker of Meyersdale died in the Wenzel Hospital last Friday night, after a long illness. He was born September 8, 1864, and lived 78 years, 7 months and 29 days. His parents were Samuel and Della (Phillippi) Fullem. He learned the wagon-making trade from his father, and after going into business on his own, operated a shop in Meyersdale. He was a good mechanic and sterling citizen and a good family man. His wife (Corda Jane Kregar) preceded him in death several years ago. He is survived by four sons - Harvey E., John E., Gilbert H., and Joseph; and four daughters - Mrs. John D. Liebau, Cumberland; Mrs. Edgar H. Miller, Chicago; Mrs. Carl H. Grove, Meyersdale; and Miss Mary at home. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one brother, Wm. Fullem, living in Ohio. Mr. Fullem was a faithful member of Amity Ev. and Reformed Church. Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. Nelson C. Brown, May 10th, in the church. Interment in the Reformed cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son. Meyersdale Republican, May 13, 1943
