The subject of this sketch was born at Grantsville, Md., March 22, 1863, and died at his home near Oakland, Md., Aug. 28, 1930, aged 67 years, 5 months and 6 days. He was a son of the late Isaiah Fuller, Sr., and Elizabeth Blocher Fuller. He was a man of gigantic size, being about 6 feet 5 inches tall, and wherever he was known, he was generally referred to as "Big Ize Fuller." He died of dropsy, and is survived by a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Leo Smith, residing at Akron, Ohio. His funeral took place on Aug. 30th. He was one of fourteen children, of which the following survive: John of Meyersdale, George of Keystone Junction, Charles of Boswell, William of Garrett, Harrison of Avilton, Md., Mrs. Betty Cochrane of Salisbury, and Mrs. Thomas Garlitz of Sand Patch.
